Restaurants around LAX

We will be staying at a hotel around LAX the night before our DCL cruise and are looking for a reasonable kid friendly restaurant. Any suggestions?

Will you have a car? Pann's Restaurant is not too far away and somewhat of an institution. (6710 La Tijera Boulevard). Also, the restaurant at the LAX itself, Encounter, would be fun for the kids, though the food is so so at best. It's got a 360 degree view of the airport and a full bar.
