restaurants around Cypress Point

We are staying at Cypress Point in July. Does anyone know what restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel? Thank you in advance!

Just got back a few days ago, we stay at CP at least once a year.
On the main road, as you turn off the freeway is a UNO Pizzas on the left- it was not good this trip. You then have Burger King, McDonalds. This would be a fair hike.
Closer to the resort and across the street, (in walking dist.) is a Chilies, a Shoneys, and 2 other main chain rest. On the same side of the street is a Sizzlers- we do breakfast there sometimes, and it is very filling if not the best or more flavorable. The China Buffet there was $12.95 a person and not good this trip. There is also a Steak and Shake.

There is a WinnDixie grocery store one block past the resort, and you can walk to it easy. It is not as cheap as the Publix that is on the other side of the freeway and about 5 miles down...

Across the street next to Shoney's is also a Joe's Crab Shack and a Macaroni Grill. Hope you will have a car--staying offsite without a car is NOT any fun! You will love Cypress Pointe! It is a great place to stay.

Thank you! We do have a car, I was just wondering what was around the area. I'm glad to hear all the good reports on Cypress Point. This will be our first time staying offsite. There are seven of us, and we just can't afford to stay in two rooms onsite. We are counting down the days!

You forgot the BEST restaurant in the area and also closest to Cypress Pointe - Giordano's. I've never had a bad meal there and I always have at least one or two every trip.

We tried to eat at Giordanos but the service was horrible and we left!

There is also an Olive Garden down the road and we had a very good meal there. Crossroads shopping center would be quite a hike, but there are several restaurants there. Actually because Apopka-Vineland Rd. is so busy I wouldn't really recommend walking in the area anyway...just my .02!

Is there a Denny's close by...? I love the breakfast there!
