Hi all! I hope everyone is having a good day. I was wondering if anyone had ever rolled a double stroller up to their table in a sit down restaurant. I know they will allow strollers at the tables if the child is sleeping because we did this with almost every sit down in Dec. 2008 with our daughter. It somehow worked out that everytime we arrived for our reservation our daughter would zonk out and every place had no problem allowing us to bring the stroller in. Now my concern is with having 2 kids and a double stroller I'm worried that if one is sleeping I'm gonna have to wake them up cause lets face it a double stroller is a lot harder to work around then a single.

Has anyone run into this problem? My hubby and I are probably just gonna do quick services due to this problem, but we would really like to do the sit downs also. I mean if we were only gonna do one or two sit downs I wouldn't worry, but I'm really looking into doing the regular dining plan and this info would be very helpful.

TIA for any advice and help! :goodvibes

1) Only a few eateries allow single strollers.
2) I know of no eateries that allow double strollers.
3) They block too much of the aisle, and thus are a safety hazard.

4) Maybe someone else has had a different experience.

We traveled in October with a double stroller. Our daughter had just turned 2. I paid attention inside restaurants and there were no restaurants where I saw any double strollers. There were Counter Service restaurants where I saw small single umbrella-type strollers (I remember seeing single umbrella strollers at Cosmic Ray's, for example). My daughter also napped in the stroller quite a bit, and I understand your hesitancy at pulling them out of the stroller, but there are so many people at Disney World with double strollers that it could be a problem if a fire alarm goes off or something like that. There just isn't a lot of space in between tables.

There definitely is a lot more planning involved when there are 2 kids. Just trying to get both of them to rest at a convenient time is indeed a challenge. :)
