We plan on Animal Kingdom on an EE day and ending the morning with a 9:45 p.s. at Donald's breakfast. I was wondering how long the breakfast lasts because we have someone coming in to Orlando on a 10:38 arrival flight and taking a towncar to meet us at OKW. We will have our van, so we will be driving out of AK after breakfast to head to OKW. Are we cutting it too close? I don't know how long it will take her from the airport (she may not have any luggage to wait for).

(Then again, I heard this was a fun breakfast and I'm wondering whether to do it on a morning she is with us  , but she is only going to be there for a couple of days and I don't know how to plan it all in.)

Usually even with a PS you'll end up waiting between 5-15 minutes for a table at Donalds. Breakfast generally takes between 45-60 minutes. Just an FYI--even with your van, it's still a good 15 minute walk from Donalds to the closest parking spot in the AK lot. You're probably cutting it close, but you should be able to make it.

You are cutting it close, but you should make it. It really is a great character breakfast--if you can make the earliest possible PS before the park opens on a non-EE day, take your own car (van) and you can be in and out and to the next park you'd like to go to with very little trouble. We did this on a Saturday in April--it worked out really well and we were in the other park just after opening so the crowds at the gate were smaller and it still was not yet busy in the park!

Thanks for the responses. I'm really going to have to think about this. I am a worrier, so I don't think "cutting it close" is going to be good for my vacation feeling. Plus, if it's so wonderful, maybe I should change it to the earliest p.s. on a non-EE and our friend can enjoy it too.

It is a great breakfast that your friend might enjoy. However if you explain to your server that you have a time limit they will try and get the characters to you earlier. We had a 9:50PS and somebody else mistakely got our table so we had to wait 15 minutes but we were still out of there and at the safari by 11:30am.
