Restaurant Tipping

For every person who under tips there are those who over tip. In the end it all evens out.

Actually, not really. When I "over tip", it is because I think someone was exceptional. They deserve that extra. When someone under tips simply because they don't like the tipping custom, it isn't "balancing out". They are getting less. Now, if someone under tips because the service was lacking, that is a different story.
