Restaurant teens will enjoy?

We're going next month and have three teenagers. I'm looking at making a reservation for lunch or dinner one day at a place that has a fun atmosphere, one teens would enjoy. Not a character breakfast or anything.

Any tips? Thank you!

Blue Bayou has great atmosphere. It's fun to eat near the water and be a part of PotC.

It kind of depends on what your teens consider a "fun atmosphere". Blue Bayou is inside the PotC building and you can watch the boats go by while eating. If they like people watching, then Cafe Orleans is a good option. If they like live music, then sometimes Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen has music in the evenings and Sunday brunch (check the schedule on the website to confirm they have music when you're thinking of going). Rainforest Cafe is another option.

Definitely Blue Bayou. Teens love to hear the people on the ride scream while they eat. :teeth:

My teen boys like Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen which is also a favorite of mine. They also ask to go to Rainforest Cafe, but I'm not big on that one so we've only been a few times, but my boys enjoy the atmosphere there and the large portion sizes. Storyteller's Cafe buffet is a Thanksgiving tradition for us, and we have also visited the PCH Grill dinner buffet. The regular dinner buffets at those locations are draws because they don't have characters but are all-you-can-eat, something teens seem to appreciate. :-) Another hit is Carnation Cafe because they both like quite a number of things that are on the menu and they enjoy eating in a restaurant right on Main Street.

This must depend on where you're sitting in the restaurant and whether there are any capital screamers on the attraction because I haven't heard that many people screaming while I've been dining in the Blue Bayou.

I would normally also suggest Blue Bayou, but POTC will be down for refurbishment beginning Feb 3rd until Mar 15th, so you would not see the boats going by. It looks like the restaurant is still open during that time though. I don't think you can go wrong with sitting outside at either Café Orleans or Carnation Café, great atmosphere and people watching! you could try to book Carnation Café for a time when the MSEP is going by.

Another option would be Ariel's Grotto in DCA if you do the WOC dinner package, not the princess breakfast. I did the WOC package and sat out on the terrace which overlooks the water and has a great view of Mickey's fun wheel and the sounds of people screaming on the roller coaster! I though the food was good and the perk of reserved viewing for WOC was great.

Blue Bayou for atmosphere, Cafe Orleans for the Monte Cristo, Plaza Inn(no reservation required) for the fried chicken plate(great for hungry teens), Jazz Kitchen when they have entertainment.

Maybe. We didn't sit next to the water but next to those tables near the cabin with the old man rocking. You could hear people scream as they go down that first hill. Gave us a few chuckles.

As a teenager, I would vote for the ESPN Zone and the Earl of Sandwich (good large sandwiches)

Maybe Storytellers Cafe at GCH for Dinner if they are still offering the buffet, also not too child-est in feeling.

Outside the parks, The Pizza Press on Harbor.
Fire + ICE, Johnny Rockets, Cheesecake Factory, CPK and Bubba Gump's at the Anaheim GardenWalk.
