Had family visiting over the Mem Day Weekend and here are the places we dined.

Breakfast:
Beingets at the POFQ food court. Had to wait for fresh ones.

Concourse Steakhouse- My group dined on bagels & smoked salmon, western omelets and Eggs Benedict. But the best thing we ordered was the Sticky Mickey, OMG. This was the highlight of our meal and will mean we return for breakfast. Served in a med sized flower pot a huge cinimmon roll overflows. It is accompanied by liquid cinammon that you pour over and into the center. Words can not describe how delicious this was and it took four of us to eat it all. Cant believe we havent had this before.

Lunches:
Konas, Very good Island Chicken Sandwich and our favorite Potstickers. Still one of the best places on property and very reasonable.

Tangerine Cafe- Truly a hidden gem at EC. We all got the Lamb or Chicken wraps which were excellent. They include a lentil salad & a cous cous salad, we added a taboulleh. This was truly healthy, reasonable and tasty meal. We could have easily split the wrap platter and had plenty to eat.

Sci Fi - Michael our wonderful server made some great suggestions. We had a ceasar salad and the BBQ Chicken Sandwich. The reuben looked really good will have to get that next time.

Dinner - Concourse steakhouse, two of us had the Prime Rib w/baked potato. Very good and the rest of us got the Filet which was cooked perfectly. I exchanged my potato option for Broccolini which was soooo good. Cant say I have ever had a bad meal at this restaurant and the servers are always great.

Beaches & Cream- Arrived at a little past 5pm and waited no more then 10 mins for a table. Still the best burgers on property, split a butterscotch sundae. Wish I had another one right now. Delores was our server and has been there for a number of years but was great as usual.

Earl of Sandwich- very good, line was lengthy. They need to learn how to handle their que better and it was a wait just to put in our order. Sandwiches pretty good, small for $6, Chinese Chicken salad very good and better deal at $5.

Thanks

OMG!!! The stickey Mickeys sound awesome!!!!! I'll have to try one. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the reviews! Im glad you had some great meals!

I agree with Twingle Mum...that Sticky Mickey sounds incredible.

Also, can I ask a probably stupid question...just what is "broccolini"? Ive heard it mentioned before, but Im just not sure what it is. ;) Thanks! :D

Thanks for the reviews!

Everything sounds so good. We did have the Rueben at the SCi Fi and it is delicious. I like barbque too, so it will be a hard decision to pick between the two.

Hmmm...we hadn't planned on breakfast at the Concourse Steakhouse, but those Sticky Mickeys sound so good, I'm thinking I need to try to fit it in somehow...

My mom loves cinnamon rolls, so I'm going to have to get her a Sticky Mickey. Can you order those for take-out? What a great surprise for her one morning. :)

We need to get over to CR for breakfast! How were the eggs benedict? The Sticky Mickey does sound great. What is a flour pot?

I agree about the setup at Earl of Sandwich. Goofy, I think.

Enjoyed your reviews!

We gotta try the Sticky Mickeys! I never heard of those! :)

Agree -- The Tangerine Cafe is great! Not quite as good as the sit down. But good food and lots of it! ;)
Great desserts too!

Thanks for the great reviews. My wife says we are going to have a Sticky Mickey on our next trip before we go home.

Eeyoregirl the hostesses always seems so nice at the entrance I am sure they would be able to put one in a to go box for you. Have to find a tall one as they are pretty big. Forgot to mention Stickey Mickeys are only $3. Ok my mouth is watering now.

As for broccolini it is just long skinny broccolli.

Have friends visiting in August and we have told them about the Stickey Mickeys and they are all ready to go.

My mom got the Eggs benedict and had no complaints and she is very picky about her eggs benedict.
