Our first trip to Disney was amazing. And because this site helped me a lot during my planning, I thought I leave our thoughts on the restaurants we visited, which might help others. My husband, our 2 daughter ( 25yr and 12yr) and me.
Day 1
arrived early afternoon, went to the pool and then to Sanaa for dinner. Oh my word ! What a way to start off our trip. Sanaa is easily our number one. All 4 of us ordered something different and all of it was fabulous. The lamb, the butter chicken, the fish. But most of all we enjoyed the desserts. Try the triple mousse.
Day 2
AK Lunch at Rainforest Cafe
My husband loved his burger . The rest of us were not impressed. The chicken strips were bland and to be honest, I don't remember everything we ordered, cause it was just nothing special. It was dark and loud.
Dinner at Tusker House Buffet
Good selection of entrees and desserts. The character interaction was great. They engaged the kids in a small parade around the room. Daisy was a hoot.
Day 3
Epcot Lunch at Chef de la France
Flat iron steak was just ok. The cod was amazing and desserts were fabulous. Very elegant setting.
Dinner at Biergarten
My husband's favorite, I believe the beer had something to do with it, lol. The food tasted so fresh, the tomatoe soup was delicious. Our waitress was great and the ambience with the life band is just like home ( I'm from Germany by the way ). This was our 2nd favorite.
Day 3
MK Lunch Cinderella Royal Castle
I wrote about this in a separate post, so I'm just gonna say that we were all very disappointed. Glad we did it, since this was our first visit, but we will not go back.
Dinner at Be Our Guest
Our waiter was one of a kind. So totally in character, so happy to assist us. We were seated in the room with the giant music box and we met the Beast after dinner. The food was good, dessert great, but the atmosphere and our waiter definitely put the cherry on the cake. This is our number 3 choice.
So...
Best food - Sanaa
Best ambience - Be Our Guest
Best entertainment - Biergarten
Restaurants we will not visit again - Cinderella Royal Table and Rainforest Cafe

Hope this can help someone else in their planning

I haven't been to the Rainforest Cafe in Disney but the one in the mall near here is awful. The decor is cute, but everything else, not.
