Restaurant reservations

We called DLP last night to make our restaurant reservations for our upcoming trip. The lady DBF spoke to confirmed all our times but could not provide reservation numbers- is this what usually happens? Apparently we can call again nearer the time to double-check they still have them.

Yup, I've never been given a number, they just use your name (which can be spelt lets say...... unusually!). Last time I went to the concierge when we arrived at the hotel and asked him to check the bookings and they were all there - I think they might be able to print them off for you.
