Me and my best friend are going in October and we need a restaurant recommendation for Epcot and Magic Kingdom.

If looking for table service I would do the Plaza for lunch in MK or BOG for dinner. Epcot really depends on what you are I need the mood for, so many options in the world showcase. San Angel inn is one of my favorites- and great margheritas.

ok so i took some good time on this so i hope it's helpful! but i still enjoyed doing it too :D!!!

YES - Meaning i've been and some multiple times! if you want a review or anything about a special about each let me know!
o Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie (breakfast)
o Chefs de France (lunch)
o Biergarten (lunch)
o Monsieur Paul (dinner)
o Electric Umbrella (lunch)
o Tokyo Dining (lunch.dinner)
o Teppan Edo Restaurant (lunch.dinner)
o Le Cellier Steakhouse (lunch.dinner)

NO - HORRIBLE..food was just so bad
o Coral Reef (lunch.dinner)

So so - not horrible but meh
o Garden Grill (lunch.dinner)
o Sunshine Seasons (lunch.dinner)
o Via Napoli (lunch.dinner)
o Tutto Italia Ristorante (lunch.dinner)
o Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (lunch.dinner)

Never been - just havent been
o Liberty Inn
o Rose and Crown Pub and Dining
o La Cantina de San Angel
o Katsura Grill
o Spice Road
o Restaurant Marrakesh
o Katsura Grill

Never been by CHOICE - bc either i've seen the menu and it's aweful or seen reviews and they are aweful
o San Angel Inn Restaurante (lunch)
o Nine Dragons Restaurant (lunch)

Magic Kingdom--
Columbia Harbour House--seafood dishes, a couple of really tasty healthy options, and a great second floor seating area
Be Our Guest--lunch is good but a bit chaotic. Dinner there is really a treat.
The Plaza--great location, good food

Epcot--
Rose and Crown--get a reservation near Illuminations time and have THE best view of that show. Food is great too!
Via Napoli--Pizza from a wood fired oven. Delicious pasta and salads too
.

Wow thank you so much! How is Tokyo Dining, Chefs de France, and Teppan Edo?

Since you are going in October and the Food & Wine Festival is at Epcot why not eat around the world??!! My hubby and I did this last year and loved all the kiosks!! Too much to choose from, we ended up going for two and a half days!

As far as MK is concerned, our fav is Liberty Tree Tavern

Oh I didn't think about that. That's a great idea.

For Epcot:
You really can't go wrong with the France Pavilion. Chefs de France was my favorite sit-down restaurant last fall. I thought the ambiance was relaxed and my meal was excellent. Les Halles is also awesome-- I loved grabbing a quick lunch there whenever I was in Epcot! If you and your friends are pizza fans, Via Napoli is also great.

For Magic Kingdom:
I wasn't personally a fan of Liberty Tree Tavern, but a lot of people love it, so I would go for it! Personally, I wouldn't do a TS at MK for dinner unless it was Be Our Guest or Cinderella's Royal Table. I like the chicken from Cosmic Rays, though!

We eaten at all 3 of the above numerous, and always come back. I could not pick my fav out of these 3, all very good, with great service. But if I had to I would pick Chef's as they have my favorite wine.

We really enjoyed Chefs de France for lunch - it was relaxing and not near as crowded/loud when we went for dinner. Menu is the same for lunch and dinner. We go to Teppan Edo every trip but it really isn't much different than any local hibachi place like a Benihana.

The Plaza isn't bad at MK and is pretty reasonably priced. You could also hop on the monorail (or the small boats) and go to The Wave (Contemporary resort), Kona Cafe (Polynesian resort) or the Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch. I think the food will probably be better at any three of those than what you'd get at MK, you'll be able to order alcohol if that is your thing, and it won't be near as crowded/hectic as the MK restaurants.

Spice Road Table in Epcot, and they also have a really good view of Illuminations on their patio. For quick, I also enjoy the Fish and Chips place in Britain. And Sunshine Seasons has one of the most varied, and tasty, quick service menus at WDW parks. If you are going during Food and Wine, make sure to check out the kiosks. Canada and Belgium usually have some really tasty food. All of them can be good, but those two I remember as standouts.

MK, I would do BOG. It is quintessential MK. I also really like the waffles at Sleepy Hallow.

I love the Udon at Katsura Grill in Epcot.
And Columbia Harbor House is my favorite at MK

Tokyo Dining has a great view which is very nice; you can ask them to sit by the window and you get a view of the lake. The food is pretty good, doesnt feel like 'disney'.
Teppan Edo - ate there once but i found it a bit pricey and you can get better else where.
Chefs de France has great food; very delicious!

Thanks everyone for the tips! We are going to look at the menus and see which fits us best or if we should just do the kiosks for food and wine festival. MK we definitely want to do Be Our Guest if a reservation time ever becomes available.

Epcot: Le Cellier, Via Napoli & Cape May Cafe(Beach Club Resort) short stroll from back entrance of Epcot

Magic Kingdom: Plaza Restaurant, Be Our Guest, Liberty Tree Tavern
