restaurant recommendations for Vegas

For the Mirage Cravings buffet, is it available for lunch? Can we dress casual if we do it for lunch on our departure day? I think it sounds great!

We loved the restaurant at the top of the Stratosphere. It's a bit pricey, but the food was so excellent.

Plus we got to go to the viewing areas of the top of the Stratosphere for free, since we were restaurant patrons. I think it's normally $12 per person.

We wanted to use a coupon we had gotten from our TA ... a free drink at the top of the Stratosphere. The views are amazing and the restaurants spins slowly 360. We will try and eat there next time we go just to see how the food is.

My dessert was a miniature stratosphere! The "building" was made of formed chocolate, both cocoa and white, and the inside of the "bubble" of the building was delicious chocolate mousse! I have a picture at home that I'll have to post later.

It didn't get busy at all when we went for lunch. Lunch is much cheaper, that's why we went then. We got to sit near the very edge and it was cool to look up from time to time to see a different view.

I just looked at the menu. Did you order all courses? We normally are fine with just three courses, but will they allow us to order just three courses from the full menu? I couldn't tell if the specific three course menu is what they use in that case.

We went for lunch. We had a choice between 3 course and 4 course for set prices. My sister ordered the 3 course and I ordered the 4 course and we split my appetizer. We actually shared each course of both meals so we could try it all.

Mon Ami Gabi at Paris - Ask for a table in the center window. It overlooks the Bellagio Fountains. Loved the service and the food and especially the view.

Mix at THEhotel is a Alain Ducasse restaurant. It is a total experience that I would love to do again! It has a French flair but lots of food options. So beautiful!

Hmmm............maybe we should try the Stratosphere restaurant for lunch on our arrival day because we would be fine with the three course option. Then we could have our last night's dinner at Mon Ami Gabi.

Pimp and Ho??? We only go there for the Ghost Bar and that's it. The Playboy place is in Palm's too but we haven't been there. But I agree, the place is wild.

I wanted to go to Moon at the Playboy tower, but I was pregnant last trip and DH was kind of against us going to the clubs with the smoke and all. I felt very well endowed then, too. Oh well - guess next trip I'll just bust out the Victoria Secret extra endowment bras!

If you go over to the Palms - because the curiosity is killin ya - go to Gardunos for lunch or dinner. It is some of the best fresh Mexican I have ever had. It can be packed though.I used to eat there at least once a week with people that I worked with. We had many George Maloof (the owner) sightings there. The buffet is terrible there though.

Yes! I have special "Vegas tramp shoes", I would never wear them here. It's a place that you might as well have fun all the way!!! People just 'go all out there', with no shame at all. Have you ever been to a spa there? Let me just warn you, it's not for the faint of heart. Most women go nekkid in the jacuzzis. Especially when the old ladies come in and rip off their robes to reveal nekkid scary ta-tas! I took my Mom to one, and she kept saying in a really loud obnoxious Jersey way that one of them needed to put her robe back on.

We should all go!
