Restaurant receipts still available for merchandise discounts?

It has been almost a year since my last visit, and I was still wondering if at some restaurants at DL they still have the 20% discount to be used at certain stores at the bottom of your receipt? This has come in handy for me in the past, and I would do all my shopping for things I wanted all at once. I hope this is still available if anyone has used it recently?

While I was there Sept 6 - 11th, of this month, I did not receive one 20% off shops... in fact I had not thought about it until I saw this post!! Bummer!

I spoke with a few CMs about this during our late June/early July trip (where we always received the receipts on coupons for the last 3+ years). I noticed they were not available, and was told they were not coming back anytime soon. I figured it must be the case since I have not heard any reports of them appearing. I just got back from DLR on Saturday night, and did not see any printed last week either (not that they typically offer those during this time).

I think the last few years they've run this promotion between Thanksgiving and New Years.

I just got back and did not see any discounts coupons on the bottom of the CS or TS receipts. I agree that they're more likely to be offered during the holiday season.

That stinks. I used to receive them all the time at various quick service restaurants throughout Disneyland. I used to get it at Village Haus, Hungry bear, Riverbelle Terrace etc. My last one I received was last year early October, and I got them a few years before that as well. Oh well, I guess I will just buy less junk to clutter my house anyways. Thanks for the updates anyways!

I think next year when they board up a large part of the park the discounts will come back but right now with the parks packed every day they probably feel no need to discount anything.

A CM told me once they were for offpeak times, and with the 60th merchandise, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't come back until late 2016 or 2017. I haven't seen them at all this year yet.

I agree, I usually got them over Thanksgiving week.....
The 60th Merchandise is priced a but higher than normal merchandise, would have been nice to have a discount, I would have bought more.......

It was a limited discount, I believe only at a few select stores and only from between 8-noon valid for 7 days. We would always wait until the end of the trip and make a special stop to the WOD store and buy everything we wanted. I thought this was on going because I actually used this receipt during the busiest times of year for multiple years. I did find it odd, seeing they do not need to offer discounts.

I've gotten the coupons in the past, usually during the holiday season. As far as I remember, it was usually good at select stores (e.g., Star Traders, the Emporium, Elias & Co) and the purchases had to made in the morning. I think they did this to distribute the shopping crowds and to encourage guests to buy holiday presents from the resort.
