Avoiding self service because I have or hopefully will have by then, my shareholder's discount for buffets and table service.
We like to have 1 sit down meal a day, husband and boys aren't fussy where or when and let me decide.
We've eaten at all the resort restaurants in the past, so there isn't anywhere we must try, characters aren't important, but I'm paying for 4 adults as Liam prefers the adult menus and I'd like to keep the bill below 100 euros for each meal :rotfl2: preferably before discount if that's possible.

Buffets are popular with my boys and I can still put Liam through as a child if we do a buffet as he's not quite 12 yet. :thumbsup2 so Rendezvous des Stars is probably 1 for us, we enjoyed it in there last time. Agrabah Cafe didn't go down well, is Plaza Gardens any good, we ate there a couple of times in 2004 and enjoyed it but that's a long time ago and any opinions on Pizza Planet buffet ?

If I can save a bit of money on most of our meals then maybe we can splurge and have 1 nice one.

We must be in snap mode - i've been reading reviews all day :lmao:

We are 4 adults and 1 child so I too am trying to decide where to eat without too much cost, and like you hope to have my shareholders card through before we go. :thumbsup2

We really enjoyed the buffet at hotel new york last year - huge selection of food and dh and the kids keep mentioning it when I start talking food at dlp - so we may end up there again. Very highly recommended.

We also plan on Cafe Mickey and sharing pizzas to cut costs, and Annettes is always on our list - I think probably one of the least expensive table service restaurants.

Hoping that a large, late breakfast and pit stop at salon mickey, might let us miss out lunch and spend a bit more on our evening meal.

I had confirmation from Louisa at the shareholders club this morning and my documents have been received, they've renewed my old membership which I wasn't expecting as it was 4 months out of date, she's faxing me a temp certificate in case the new card doesn't arrive in time.

So big breakfast before EMH, as late as possible to Salon Mickey for coffee and cakes, any idea what the last entry time is ?
Only been in once before and that was early morning.
Then hopefully we can hang out until evenng, now that I know we definately will have the discount Cafe Mickey is on for the first night, it's kind of traditional for us to eat there.
We didn't try the HNY buffet when we stayed there so might have a look at that and I did really like the Chicago Steakhouse, need to find some upto date prices. :)

We've eaten in Plaza gardens 3 times and the last time we weren't very impressed at all. It wasn't that clean, the food wasn't replenished in a timely manner and the ambiance was that of a school cafeteria. If it's improved then I'd be interested to know as buffets will be great with Lucas being just 2, but having a big appetite!

When I went to Salon Mickey it was around 11.30am and at 11.55 they did say that we needed to be out by 12 noon as they closed then!!

Yep, Salon Mickey closes at noon every day.

Salon Mickey closes at noon but depending on how busy they have been they may not have any pastries left. I have been in at 11am & the choice very minimal

we really enjoyed the plaza gardens. i thought it was great value for money. the staff were really nice, it has a lovely atmosphere and the food was quite varied. i gave ash the choice of the lucky nugget and told her mickey mouse would be there and the plaza gardens and she said she wants to go back to the plaza gardens lol.
