I'm toying with this as a back-up for one of our Epcot days, we love trying new foods but I haven't heard ANYTHING about it good, bad or otherwise. :confused3

Anyone care to share some info about this restaurant?

I loved it. Stayed away from it for years as I wasn't sure how we would like it but would eat there again in a heartbeat. Loved the cous cous, we make it at home often

If you like the sounds of the menu then go for it

We really like it- it is probably my husband's favorite in the world showcase. I normally get there 3 course lunch specail. I love the apps- especailly the berwat and the chicken item. In fact we loved it so much we bought the cookbook so I could make some things at home. I did have a leg of lamb dish that I didn't care for the spices on as much as other things but again that is a matter of taste not a matter of being well cooked- service has always been excellent for us here as well.

Loved it. Cinnamon flavor on the meat is really good. DH and DD loved it also.

It is a must do for us each trip. I hesitated for years, but we love it. It is a beautiful restaurant, with warm friendly servers, great food and good entertainment. The band is good and the Belly Dancer is lots of fun for all ages.
Enjoy

We loved it too, I hadn't expected to (I hate couscous, but my DH loves it and he requested Marrakesh specifically), but I had the fish tagine (fish baked in a clay pot with vegetables) and it was amazing. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the belly dancer was great, she clearly loved dancing and she called out all the kids on the floor and danced with them and you could tell she loved the kids.

The service was so-so, which seems to be common there, but it was okay. A little bit slow and not as over-the-top friendly as you often get at Disney, but nothing rude or unreasonable. And it gave us more time to look around the restaurant.

We really enjoy eating here, great place to go if you have no adrs.

The food is good and the entertainment is great.

We have always been tempted to try it, but never have!:confused3 Maybe it will go on our to-do list for next summer trip!:rotfl:

It used to be our favorite place, but the last couple times we've been, the chicken just tasted like chicken, and it really wasn't anything special. My favorite was the beef rolls with cinnamon that someone mentioned above. The decor is very pleasant, and there is entertainment- music and a dancer, and it is an air conditioned place to stop if you want to cool off a bit.

We really enjoy Marrakesh. The food is always delicious, and my two kids (ages 3 1/2 and 2) enjoy it as well. The best part is that there are lots of things my DS can eat - he has a dairy and egg allergy. Give it a try! :)

We really liked it, the Brewrat (beef rolls w/ cinnamon) was awesome...kids loved the belly dancer at dinner. She invited the kids up to dance with her and my daughter was so excited to join in. The room was beautiful and I loved the Morocco area of Epcot!! (be sure to find Jasmine and Aladdin in the small room off the store opposite the restaurant ;) That was a welcome surprise for my DD!

My food was so-so (don't remember what I got; it was a special that night) but DH's meal was awesome. I think he got the sampler platter?? I did love my dessert, the bastilla...it was yummy!!!

Marrakesh typically receives excellent reviews, but my family didn't love it. We love authentic Middle Eastern food and much prefer Tangierine Cafe, the counter service option in Morocco.

Nothing really stood out as exceptional at Marrakesh, in our opinion. We expected fresh hummus, pita and couscous and received fare not so different than what we make at home or buy in local supermarkets. I grew up in an area with a large Jewish population and always had simple access to wonderful Middle Eastern cuisine. Perhaps that tainted my opinion.

I used to love it when I was younger, but I went with my boyfriend in March and we didn't love it. I got the chicken kebabs and the chicken was rreaallly dry. He got lamb and couscous, and he thought everything was rather dry, too, but I think he liked his dish more than I did. Our service wasn't that great...I kind of felt like we were waiting long for refills.

We did llooove the Moroccan Mint Tea, though. AND the Goat Cheese appetizer for two is sooo flavorful and delicious. Definitely better than our entrees!! :goodvibes
