Restaurant in Epcot- Mexico

[Hopefully]

This was the surprise of our trip last year. I almost cancelled our ADR several times based on the consistently bad reviews here on the DIS. But DH and DS wanted to eat here.
The atmosphere is great, the food was very good, not amazing but very good, and the service was attentive but not hovering, just right.
I did not find it too dark, like others have said.
I did not find it too loud, as others have said.
I did not find it too crowded, as others have said.
We enjoyed it totally and we will return in the future.

I haven't been to this restaurant in years, but I do remember it as wonderful - but I know I"m remembering the atmosphere & not the food. The times I went it was always for lunch (just walked right in - waaaaay before DDP or free dining). And it was before I had kids, so I"m sure I was more tolerant of darkness, noise, etc. Maybe it's just time has made my memory fonder? Unfortunately, I don't think we can fit in on our January trip....

We ate there last Saturday night. The food was good, the service was good, and the atmosphere was great. BUT...it took them over ONE HOUR to settle our bill. They had to take it in the back THREE TIMES. We had six people on the DDP and one OOP, and a few drinks, and they just couldn't figure out how to run it. It was ridiculous.
