Okay, I am in need of dire help!!

I need to make my ADR's soon and can't decide which restaurants to go to. My husband thinks I am crazy for fretting about this.:confused3 Please help! I am a planner that is getting lost in all the info! Maybe too much and am beginning to get pulled in a lot of places.
FYI, we are not planning to go to Epcot this trip.
What is the best restaurant in each park that you enjoy?
Is there one that you would skip?
Is there a really good seafood place you would recommend that is on the DDP?
I plan on doing mostly dinners/table service at night.
My kids DD7 & DS4 will be going for their first time and this is their Surprise/Christmas present.
Here are my best guesses right now:
MK:
Dinner:Liberty Tree Tony's or Crystal Palace?
AK:
Should I just plan on going somewhere else??
MGM:
We are thinking about doing the Fantasmic package. Anyone think this is a good idea at peak times?
Otherwise, Mama Melrose or 50's Prime Time?
I am not set on these places and definitely need some help. Any advice would be helpful and greatly appreciated!!:goodvibes
Thanks ahead of time!

I would definintely do Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic Package at peak time (we refuse to go to Hollywood & Vine after two very bad experiences). We have never done Crystal Palace for dinner--only breakfast. I am sure you can't go wrong with it or Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. As for AK, we have never had table service there, but are trying Yak & Yeti in September. It has gotten mixed reviews, but we want to try it for ourselves.

MK: Never eaten at a TS restaurant here.
EPCOT: Coral Reef!
MGM: Brown Derby was good a few years back, Mama Melrose was great last spring
AK:Not in AK, but @ AKL both Boma and Jiko are amazing! Boma has a bigger variety and is buffet while Jiko is more upscale and a 2TS credit plase.

Is there one that you would skip?
Whispering Canyon Cafe @ the Wilderness Lodge...a lot of people had bad experiences here but I booked it anyways. It ended up being our family's least favorite dining experience of the trip - for many reasons. (Although the skillet was not bad)

Most places are on the DDP. My dad planned our vacation in 2006 but in 2007 I went with girlfriends and was in charge of planning, so I did a lot of reading and researching (which is how I found these boards!) Now I am a compulsive planner! Anyways, my favorite seafood place is Coral Reef in Epcot (even though you said you are not planning to go there!)

I think you should definitely do Mama Melrose! Also, Boma at the AKL would be a good choice as well. Ohana in the Poly is my favorite restaurant there, and I really do enjoy Chef Mickey's - even though I am almost 21!

My other favorite restaurants are in Epcot and are Coral Reef and Les Chefs de France.

We don't usually eat TS at the parks, but Ohana at the Poly is great and has fun things (like coconut races) for the kids. It has a nice atmosphere as well ::yes::. Another suggestion geared toward kids is Chef Mickey's at the CR.....great buffet with fun for kids and adults alike :dance3:. I know you were looking for suggestions for park TS, but the Poly and the CR are a convenient monorail ride to/from the MK if that's an option for you :goodvibes.

MK: Liberty Tree Tavern is a "must do" for us, so I would definitely recommend it for dinner. The food is pretty good: steak, ham, mac & cheese, etc. The nice thing about LTT is that the food is brought to you instead of the standard buffet style, so you don't have to worry about missing characters. The characters are Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip & Dale in colonial garb, which is pretty cool.

AK: I have heard Jiko & Boma's are good, but have never tried either. I would not recommend Rainforest Cafe: it's not on the DDP, the food is average at best, and the money you spend out of pocket is not worth it.

MGM: The fantasmic package w/Mama Melrose's is probably your best bet. We enjoy 50's Prime Time Cafe - it is alot of fun with good simple food "like mom would make." I like the theming of 50's: eating in a 50's style kitchen & the servers are usually alot of fun.

Non Park TS I would recommend: O'hana - pretty good food (smoked turkey & steak on skewers) & it has a nice atmosphere with the Polynesian theming.

We are going in August of 08 my sister has already made our ADR we are eating at the following places and these are repeats we have enjoyed them before. The Poly also has a nice breakfast with Lilo and Stitch and friends and it is served family style they bring the food to you but you can request seconds.

Chef Mickeys (dinner)
Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner)
Crystal Palace (lunch, sorry this is new for us)
Poly, breakfast with Lilo and Stitch and friends
50's Prime Time
Trails n Buffet

and we are thinking of doing GF 1900 Park Fare the day we leave thinking of doing the breakfast any thoughts on this one we have done it but it was in 2001 our last viist was 2006 and we did not make it there tried some new places.

Have a great time
