Restaurant Ideas for an 18th Birthday

Hi!
My daughter and I will be visiting DL in August for the first time and she will be celebrating her 18th birthday while we're there. I'm looking for restaurant ideas for either breakfast or dinner that would make her day a little more special. I should note that we're vegan so I'm hoping there is a great place for us to celebrate.

I'm a meat eater so not up on the vegan places. Is ice cream vegan?

If so Farrells Ice cream is a great place for a birthday party.

That is where I went for my 18th maaaaaany years ago.

I think Napa Rose would be a lovely place to have dinner. Chef Sutton and his team are very good at offering delicious alternatives to meat. I was dining at the Chef's Counter awhile ago and a woman came in with a list of dietary restrictions which was quite long. The woman was very apologetic, but Chef Sutton didn't even blink an eye. He served her a full five course meal that complied with her list. She was delighted! He said he was happy to do it. I would call and ask, but I can't imagine they would be anything but happy to arrange something.

Ice cream is a dairy product so it is not vegan.

I second Napa Rose. My 18 year old daughter agrees!!! Her second choice for a birthday meal would be Storytellers character breakfast (I just asked her).

My vote is for Napa Rose also. Never actually been but that's definitely not due to lack of desire. I understand though that they're pretty good at customizing dishes to your tastes and making them taste phenomenal at that. Seems like it would be right up your alley if you don't mind shelling out the cash. Not sure there are very many other choices for vegans in the DLR vicinity.

Not sure if you're looking on property or off. There is a Red Robin down Harbor Blvd that has a veggie burger and probably a few other veggie dishes. We usually eat there once or twice when we visit. If they are like the Red Robin's here they also will have a free dessert and sing at your table type deal for birthdays.

Does anybody else know if any other local restaurants have similar birthday deals? Does Farrell's do something similar?

when are you going? after cars land opens? if so what about the new restraunt in the dca? carthay theater or soem thign (spelled wrong)

We're going in mid-August so Cars Land will definitely be open! I will check out your suggestion.

Thanks! I was looking at Storytellers as well as a possibility. We've done character breakfasts at WDW but this will be our first trip to the west coast.
