Restaurant hopping at Epcot

Hi there.. my husband and I have a free night during our stay mid May. I think we want to bar/restaurant hop in Epcot for a bit. Do we need reservations for this type of thing? We love getting appetizers at various bars, and sitting on patios for a drink or two. Just not sure how to handle the adr, or if we can walk up to different locations. Thanks in advance!

I you plan only to sit at the bar, probably not. But if you plan to sit in the dining room, you'll need an ADR.

This is info only from reading posts here but there are only two real bars in the WS. One in Mexico (The tequila bar?) and at the Rose and Crown. The R&C is the only one connected to a TS restaurant.

When people talk about "drinking around the world" they are usually talking about getting drinks at the various stands in each country.

Also you can get various snacks and desserts at other stands so you really don't need to go into any TS places and have to worry about ADR's.

But if you want an app in Mexico, a meal in Italy and dessert in France and they are all TS then you will need 3 ADR's and sit in the restaurant.

The previous poster is correct - Epcot restaurants generally do not have bars. The only full bars with food service in the World Showcase are at Mexico and Britain. If you want food from the restaurants, you will need to be seated in the restaurant, and for that you will generally need a reservation. Most snackers purchase food and beverages from outdoor kiosks or shops.

The patio in Mexico is an outdoor counter service so no ADRs. The Mexican sit down restaurant that is outside has indoor seating but nice views. The Mexican restaurant inside the pavillion is inside and the tequilla bar is also inside the pavillion.

Where are you planing on eating. There are two restaurants in Mexico San Angel Inn in the pyramid and totally enclosed and La Hacienda de San Angel which is also indoors but with some tables with views of the lagoon.

There is also La Cantina de San Angel next to La Hacienda de San Angel which is CS and outdoors and since its CS does not need an ADR.

My plan is to eat with my family (son, my parents and husband) and then set my son free to hang out with his grandparents. Then my husband and I can hop around at various countries to snack/drink/dessert it up

Neither of the Mexico TS restaurants have a patio. At La Hacienda, the patio is for quick service dining; table service seating is indoors. The San Angel Inn is located completely indoors inside the pavilion building, as is the Cava del Tequila bar.

San Angel Inn sort of approximates a patio with its design, but it is not an outdoor patio. If you get an ADR for either restaurant you will not be sitting outside.
