Hi everyone!

I'm doing the DIS ABD this coming April. I am going to be arriving the day before the tour starts, and am looking for dinner suggestions. I had been thinking about 25 Degrees in the Hollywood Roosevelt, I went there this past year before the ABD and it was awesome.

I've heard some good things about Musso and Frank's, and a Japanese restaurant with a great view (I'm blanking out on the name). Are either of these restaurants within walking distance of the Rennaissance? Or would taking a cab be easier? Or are there other restaurants that you'd recommend?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you!

Take a look at "The Bazaar" in Hollywood by Jose Andres.....an amazing culinary experience.

25 Degrees is within walking distance. (Roosevelt Hotel is a block or two away from Hollywood & Highland on Hollywood Blvd.) Yamashiro is close, but I don't think you could walk it. It's up a narrow, steep street above the Magic Castle. We took a cab there from the Renaissance and the cabbie wasn't happy until my husband gave him a nice tip. We've been to Yamashiro a handful of times and enjoy it, although my husband wanted to try something different when we were there for our July ABD. Our friends who live in LA, though, really love it so we went again.

The guys from the podcast liked The Grill, which is in the Hollywood & Highland complex. Don't be afraid to research other alternatives. My husband wanted to go to a French place called Cafe des Artistes (sp) on North McCadden Place in Hollywood. He's still a little bitter that we didn't get to go.:)

Thank you very much for the help! Right now I think I might be leaning toward The Grill.

Yes. Hollywood Roosevelt is really awesome. It has been more prominently featured in films and in Hollywood nightlife. There has been a recent surge in popularity within young Hollywood in the last few years, thanks to trendy nightclub Teddy's.
