I received a restaurant.com certificate for Christmas :thumbsup2 and wasn't sure which restaurant to redeem it for. Any advice? So far I am thinking maybe....

Frogger's Bar and Grill
Crab House fresh Seafood
Urban Hibachi
BBQ Boys
Fat Boys BBQ
Jamaican Cuisine Jerk Spot
Amicis

Thanks for any input. I know the standard advice may be Giordano's but I bought a groupon for Cici's and DH is not a big pizza fan to begin with so twice might drive him cuckoo.

We just returned and used a certificate at House of Blues for lunch one day, it was good, I would go there again.

Check out the menus of each restaurant and then check reviews on Yelp, Urban Spoon or Trip Adviser. I love trying new places when we travel with Restaurant.com, and that is my plan of attack when picking.

Of those you posted, OP I'd go with the Crab House. However, that's not the greatest place for seafood.

What other options do you have? Any of the restaurants on Dr. Phillips? Those are pretty nice. Ruth's Chris, or Melting Pot, or Cedars... places like that.

I like BB Kings on International drive. They have great ribs and other southern cuisine. Parking costs extra. Go early if you want a quieter dining experience, later if you want to listen to the music.

I love Kimonos in the Swan. They have great Japanese food.

I have a certificate at House of Blues to use this year. The certificate will provide me with motivation to eat there for the first time.

I used a certificate for Nelore in Winter Park last year. The food was great, but $25 off will still mean a large bill for dinner. I was able to use one for lunch last year.

I have $25 off certificates for all of the above. If your certificate is worth less ($10), you may want to look at other options since all of these are rather expensive.

The best certificate deals are $25 off a $35 purchase. Since dinner still costs, I don't think it is worth it to use a certificate unless the restaurant has a good reputation for its food quality. Make sure to check reviews on Tripadvisor so you have an idea what to expect.
