I hope I understand your question correctly. I purchase Restaurant.com certs through mypoints.com when they go on sale at 80% off. I purchase the certs for rests. in my hometown (not too many choices there, small town) and for Ocean City, MD where my parents have a vacation home. If I had a trip planned to WDW I would certainly purchase the ones available in the Swan and Dolphin and the Kissimmee/LBV/Celebration area (there are LOTS available right now).

I bought some earlier in the month when they had the 80% for House of Blues (2) at DTD as well as Shula's and we will use them for our trip in December. I also bought one for Shula's in Birmingham, AL, but I don't know if we will use it or not, their prices are really high, even with the certificate.

I would buy more, if they had them for restaurants in our area, but they don't.

BTW, they don't expire.

I bought HOB $25 for our trip next week. We will probably either go for Happy Hour (1/2 apps) or lunch. I hope the kids like it, sounds like fun to visit.

Is it true that you can only use one per month to a certain restaurant? I bought one for HOB in DL and want to get another one with this sale, but don't want to get there and have them say I can't use it.

Yes - that is true for most certificates including HoB. Personally, I have never tried to use more than one in a month so I don't know if it would work or not.

I always go directly to restaurant.com to purchase my certificates. We have been using them for over 5 years, mainly when vacationing in different areas, but I have purchased several for my home area. Didn't get any for this latest trip I just took, but last year I got one for House of Blues. Had to spend a minimum of $35, but since they included alcoholic beverages that helped. Still, on a solo trip and dining by myself so bought two young ladies sitting next to me at the bar an appetizer.

Reading that you purchased 2 for one restaurant, hope you realize you can only use one certificate. Terms of certificates appear when you click on the denomination you are interested. Company is very flexible. One I purchased last year expired in one year, but I was told to log in and reprint it and it would have NO expiration date. So, if you have any unused certificates, check that out. Also, if you want to change certificate from one restaurant to another, I understand that can be done although I have never done so myself.

I just wanted to buy another one for there but won't now since there is that rule. Good to know though that if I had, I could exchange! There is not one restaurant in my town that participates in this! I will try to find one in San Diego for our time after DL.

We purched one for the Giraffe restaurant at Royal Plaza hotel on Hotel Blvd. (Downtown Disney, Marketplace) and had an excellent quiet steak dinner and pasta dinner. I will certainly go there again.
