If you have used restuarant.com I have a couple of questions. I see they have HOB coupon $10 for $25 with an addl 80% off. So I could get an $25 gc for $2. Now when it comes time to use it 1. can I only use one at a time? 2. I'm with my sis and her family, could we get seperate checks and she use one and I use one? She has 6 in her family and I have 4 so we each would be well above the $35, is this allowed or am I being cheap? How do you use them? As I understand it, you print off a coupon thingy on your computer and present it to the waitstaff, correct? Has anyone had problems or been denied usage? thanks for all the help.

I use restaurant.com certificates all the time. Each restaurant has it's own set of rules that usually include one certificate per table clause. Almost all ofthem that I have used include a set gratuity of 15-20%. You buy your certificate, then print it and take it to the restaurant with you. We just give them to the server at the end of our meal when they bring the check. Often, we receive an email survey about our experience later.

You can only use one certificate at a time. I don't have a certificate in front of me, but I know there's something about one certificate per party, even if you sit at separate tables.

I used 2 certificates last week. It does state right on them that it is one certificate per party even if at separate tables. It tells you all the details right before you purchase them. They do also add an auto gratuity, which I missed on the certificate. We were charged 18% at a buffet. However, the difference between what was added to the bill and what we would have paid was only about $6. So since I got a $25 certificate for $2 I'm not complaining.
