I don't think so... you would have to read the details on the certificate to be sure but they usually say no other coupons/discounts apply.

Does HoB minimum include drinks? We are on a tight budget so plan on only spending just above the $35 minimum, which we could do with one drink but we are just under w/o it.

Well techincally it is $15 of $35 (or $23 off $35 if you use an 80% code). It comes to about $22 Out of Pocket with Tax & Tip, if you get the cert for $2.

No, you cannot combine discounts.

You can use the coupon (IMO it's more a coupon then a gift certificate) for appetizers, entrees, desserts and non-alcoholic drinks.

You need a printer, I've never seen a mailing option. Make sure you check what the minimum purchase is to use the $50 coupon, most of those you have to spend $100 to get the $50 off.

I bought 6 new coupons yesterday. We use these all the time, I've never had any problems using coupons for different restaurants during a 30 day period.

Before you buy everyone, make sure you check the terms and requirements. I buy the $25 coupons (for 80% off so they are $2) and most places have a $35 minimum to use that one, 1 place we love has a $40 minimum, most will not allow alcohol to be counted towards your minimum and most DO include an 18% gratuity, I've only used 2 that did not add the gratuity in. I know a lot about these (it's the only way we really eat out anymore) so feel to ask any questions you may have.

I buy the generic restaurant.com gift certificates when they have these 90% off codes (sorry that sale ended last week, but sign up for the email list, they have 80% off pretty regularly and 90% several times a year).

Then, when I know where I want to eat I exchange the restaurant.com for whatever specific restaurant.

A few reasons to do it this way:

The generic restaurant.com never expire. Some of the restaurant specific ones have expiration dates.

Except for things like Disney trips I seldom know where I actually will want to eat in the future and when these 90% deals come up they're only good for a couple days.

But...one of the best advantanges.....you can send these generic certificates to your friends/family as gifts. Then THEY choose their own specific restaurant to exchange it for. This now puts the certificate into THEIR name and THEIR email address. So now they're not tied to MY email address so my friends and family visiting the same great restaurant as me in the same month doesn't cause trouble. Just saying.
