Has anyone ever tried buying discount coupons at restaurant.com? I've been looking the website and it looks interesting to be able to buy for $3.00 a 50% discount coupon or for $10.00 a $25.00 certificate. :cool1:

I know that you can get an entertainment book for the orlando area. I looked on the web and for $10 it doeesn't take much to get you money back. I looked at www.entertainment.com to get a preview. I have one for my area and like it.

Does anyone have one of these?

I have one for my area too and the new book comes out in October. So I supposed that if I want to get one for my trip, I will have to wait until October since my trip is in Nov. 29, so the 2005 book won't work.

I've used Restaurant.com. There isn't a large selection of restaurants in my area, but I did get 3 $10.00 gift certificates for $3.00 each (have to be used with a minimum $15.00 purchase). They are good for a year from purchase, so you don't have to use them right away. That reminds me that I should check back with them and see if they've added any more restaurants!

i have bought coupons from them for a couple of restaurants in our area. (there aren't very many) we've had no problem using them. there is a limit of one per restaurant per month. used to get them from ebay but don't know if they are still doing that and with coupons codes it is often cheaper to get them from the site. read the individal restrictions before you purchase, each restaurant is a little different...must have party of 4, one per table, during lunch hours only, those type of things...
these are often a GREAT deal!
our favorite was the 50% off, limit 8 persons that we have used several times for family dinners at a local mexican food place. have bought for $1, 1.50, and $3, what a deal!

I have bought certificates from them before and just bought two more for our trip to Vegas next week.

I found codes if you need them

code # 71714 -- 50% off (says it expires 6/1/05, but I just used it and it still worked after midnight!)
code # 87488 -- 20% off

Hope someone can use these!!!

There are almost always codes. They usually have 50% off codes if yousign up for their newsletter, or register or whatever. Sometimes they even have 60% off coupons. We use them all thetime.

We've used them several times- the only problem is limited amount of places in our area. We also ran into a problem with a restaurant that sold the busines before we could use the gc. Since we only paid $3 for it, I wasn't going to go back to Restaurant.com for a refund (which you can do) The new owners ended up giving us a discount anyway.

I used this site last week for the 1st time - it was great! It did take longer than I was told (I called the 1-800# first) to receive the emailed voucher, but what a great deal! I found a discount code that said it was expired, but it still worked. I got a $25 certificate for $5 bucks! WOO HOO! We had already planned a girls night out at this restaurant and I stumbled on this site while looking up directions! My only tip - read the fine print - there are exclusions!

I have used restaurant.com several times. A year or two ago they had fewer restrictions in the coupon, so I just make sure I read all of the fine print before I buy. They also have big discount periods several times a year and I load up then.
