How do these work? I was thinking of getting $50 worth for when we're there in May ( I will make my way over ot the Swan if its worth it!)... but not sure what the deal is with these certs, has anyone tried restaurant.com before? If I got $50 in certs, would that just be applied to the bill like cash? Thanks ... any info is great!

They do work.
. . . there is a minimum purchase amount for food
. . . one cert per table
. . . give the cert to server before the bill
. . . the value of the cert is deducted from total before taxes
. . . they automatically add 18% gratuity (part of agreement)
. . . 18% is based upon full bill, before cert value

Fictitious Example:
. . . bill - $75.00
. . . cert - $25.00
. . . net - $50.00
. . . tip - $9.00 (no negotiation)
. . . tax - $3.25
. . . tot - $62.25

Right now Kimonos only offers a 25$ for 10$ cert. If you do get two of them..some restaurants will honor them if you use a separate credit card. We did that at House of Blues with two 25$ certificates and the server was more than happy to be getting 18% grat. But, if you're somewhat on the edge about purchasing two and not being able to use them, don't. Now if you do decide to get these certificates, there are promo codes out right now that can bump the price down to 3$ for a 25$. Promo codes: MEAL Also there are other restaurants on Disney property that have certificates on Restaurants.com.

Kimonos, Todd's BlueZoo, Il Mulino Trattoria, Shulas, Garden Grove. (All at Swan and Dolphin) House of Blues (DTD)

1) As I mentioned above, ONLY ONE cert per table.
2) This is stated on the cert.

Yeah they are strict about using only 1 certificate per meal, so there's no point in buying more than 1 unless u intend on eating there more than once.

I bought mine when they were having a special so I got the $25 for $2. BUt the stipulation for this 1 in particular is there is a $35 minimum. Still worth it tho!

They also state only one per month per restaurant....not sure how strict they are on that.

We have used them at house of blues and have a couple for around our home area.

They have no expiration date and I get them when they are $1 or $2 so a very good deal.

We use those certificates. And I always wonder if it is 1 (per each restaurant) in a calendar month. Or, if it is by 30 days. :confused3 (Say, August 15 to mid September.)
Never tried under a few months apart at the same restaurant. But I always wondered.
