Hi,
I was hoping someone who has used a restaurant.com certificate can answer a question.
I learned about the site from mousesavers.com and thought I'd take a look. We were thinking about trying Blackwater BBQ - saw them on the food network - so I was really excited to find a copy of their menu and also to discover I can get a $10 off dining certificate.
Thanks to the 50% off code on mousesavers, it will only cost me $1.50. We are a family of 4 - with two teenage boys - so I'm sure my bill will be at least $50 - or more.
My brother's family is joining us on this vacation - he also has a family of four and will probably spend $40-$50 on his meal (his kids are younger).
I'd like to get us each a $10 certificate - but the the general "rules" state that you can only use 1 certificate per party - even if you sit at separate tables and get separate checks. Is that correct?
Has anyone every eaten at Blackwater BBQ and used a certificate? According to the site, it is set up cafeteria style - you go through the line, place your order, get your food, pay and then find a table/seat. So how can they enforce this type of policy?
Maybe I should just order the two certificates and we can ask once we get to the restaurant? I can understand how they wouldn't want families to split into groups of 2 and each group have a $10 certificate - on the other hand, we are two separate familes of 4 - it doesn't seem unreasonable for each of us to save $10 on our check.
Would appreciate any advice/info anyone can provide.
Thank you,
