We are going to Disney / Universal this summer and are staying at Orange Lake Country Club (my in-laws timeshare). I am not too familiar with Orlando or the area Orange Lake is in. I would like to take advantage of the restaurant.com offer. Can anyone recommend good restaurants that are on the restaurant.com site. I know Orange Lake borders up against Animal Kingdom, so it is relatively close to Disney. If anyone has any suggestions I would love them. Thanks!

I am thinking about buying a $250 gift card for $100 for our school.
We are having a large event and they are looking for donations etc.
If I were to purchase a gift card like this, could the school use it at one resturant to purchase food for the event?
Do we have to contact the resturant and tell them that the coupon came from resturant.com ?
Any experience?

It's not a gift card, it is a certificate that carries certain requirements and/or restrictions. It is clearly states on the certificate. Each restaurant is different. Some restrictions/requirements are minimum purchase, excludes alcohol, valid on certain days, etc. If this is one of the catering certificates, I would call the restaurant to make sure you could use it for your school event.

I see what you are trying to say and if that is how it works then they are mis-leading. It wasn't very clear and that is why I posed the question. However, there are a couple of links or tabs on the site that says "give a gift" and "visit our gift center." I will give them a call tomorrow to clarify the difference of how "gift" cards work....I bet you get credit for XXX dollars and you redeem ever how many resturants you can w/ your credits.....
Also thanks for heads up on the restrictions. It appears you can only use the resturant I was interested in once a month w/ a maximum of $10 off the bill w/ a $25 purchase. Oh well....
Oh yeah, I didn't see the "catering certificates" you mentioned. Where was that?

Some restaurants offer catering. When you said you saw a $250 certificate, I thought maybe it was for catering since you mentioned getting food for your event.

The certificates are a great deal if you can deal with the restrictions/requirements.

I bought 5 certificates for one restaurant a while back. We used one, but I didnt write down the certificate number. How do I figure out which one we used???

If you can't find the email they sent you I would just call them - they should be able to help you. I bought five today but it says they expire a year from the date of purchase.
