I am wondering which restaurant people are requesting for the CP dining package?
Thanks!!!
:)

We are going to do either San Angel or Le Cellier. We have until Monday morning to decide I guess. :cool1:

We're doing Marrakesh. It's on our list of places we wanted to dine and has the best menu choice and price for our 14yr old who's considered an adult for the package (he'll probably order off the children's menu at alot of places). It also has the most items we'd all like to try so we can all taste 3 different app/entree/desserts.

I'm planning on coral reef with my grandmother. This week she mentioned that she wants a fish tank so she can just stare at the fish. :rotfl:

We're doing Chefs de France one night and Teppanyaki the other night...going twice...woohoo!

We're going with Biergarten, our 3 teen ds are pretty picky but I am sure they will find something they will like, its the lst tier choice and cheapest and its close to the american gardens theater, less of a walk after the dinner if we are running late and we get to enjoy the entertainment in germany while dining so it seems like a good choice. The only think I am a little concerned with is sharing a table with others. We are just pretty quiet people, now if we were sitting with some dis'er I might do some talking!!

Still undecided...Marrakesh or Teppanyaki? I love leCellier, but have done it a couple of times, and want something different. I guess I'll do Marrakesh, because it's cheaper, but I may change my mind before the morning...

We will be doing Biergarten. I have never tried it but it seems like it would be fun. If you want to do the 8:15 show, what time should you have your ressies? Thanks

When you request your CP time, the CM will give you dining times available for Biergarten, specific to the show time. They have a "range" - say you said you wanted to eat at 6:30, that time is most likely in the range for the 8:15 CP. They won't let you eat too early and they won't let you eat past a certain time or you won't make it to your show. Gee, I hope that makes sense! Main thing is you know the date, time and restaurant - they'll help you with the rest!!! We did Biergarten last year with the 8:15 CP (think we ate around 6:30 - worked out great!) and we're doing that again this year. Love Biergarten! :goodvibes

Thanks everyone for the great replies,I really appreciate it,I am still undecided as to which restaurant to choose. :confused3

We're going with L'Orginale Alfredo mainly because it's so close to the American Theater. We were going to try to eat about 4:30pm at Coral Reef, watch the tree lighting at 6:00pm, then try to do the 8:15pm CP, then see Illuminations at 9:30pm, but someone said they probably wouldn't let you eat at 4:30pm for the 8:15pm CP, so I guess we'll just have to come back another night for the tree lighting ceremony. I still can't decide if I shoud ask for the second or third show. Is it dark for the second show?

My mother will be with me and is a very brittle diabetic. There is no way she can have a late dining time. I wonder if they will accomodate us for the dining time?

By the way, I haven't heard much about Alfredo's. Is it any good?

I did my CP package reservations this morning. Be ready to wait on hold. I was on hold 20 minutes. I was able to get a 4:30 P.M. ressie for Beirgarten and the 6:45 p.m. show. They will also ask where you are staying and if you are onsite, you can pick up your tickets at your resort instead of having to do that in Epcot.
The cast member was very helpful and once I spoke to a real person, I was done in a about 1 and 1/2 minutes.

Yeah...I only waited 46 minutes to talk to a CM, but when I did I was able to get our 5:30 ADR at Chefs de France and the 8:15 CP for Marlee Matlin...yeah!

Well, my wait was almost an hour; but did secure LeCellier for 5:00 p.m. & CP @ 8:15 p.m. 12/12. CM said they're awfully swamped with CP's today. Glad I got what we wanted. :sunny:
