A little help please...do you have to cancel a ressie 24 hrs early if you are not going, or just sometime the day before?

For most restaurants it is 11:59 PM the night before, but there are some events with a 2 day or more cancellation policy so check your confirmation for the exact details.

Although Disney says 24 hours, most people say as long as it's before midnight the day before you're OK.
I've never seen a place where Disney says "24 hours." Disney always says "1 day" or "2 days" before.

When I said 24 hours, I was referencing their "day before" wording. It doesn't seem to get more specific than that on any of the ressies I've made. I'll take the suggestion of making sure it's before then end of the day before.

Given the system's habit of going down or misbehaving when you least expect, probably a good idea to not plan on waiting to 11:53 to go to the site. I've been bit that way.

Earlier this month one of my ADRs (something in HS, I can't remember) had a 48 hour policy. I called and a CM was able to take away the fee, thank goodness!

Was it a Fantasmic dining package? That's the only place in DHS I can think of with a 48 hour policy.
