Restaurant Akershus--Is there any pattern?

Does anyone know if there is any typical pattern to which princess is the princess in the foyer when you first enter and which ones circulate, or is it completely random?

I've recently read some posts where people said that Sleeping Beauty was the princess in the foyer at lunch, and I'm wondering if that is typical. My dd loves Sleeping Beauty, so that would be kind of cool...but we were leaning toward trying breakfast.

When we went for dinner in March 06, there was a TERRIFIC Ariel in the foyer and my dd happened to have King Triton and Ariel figurines in her hand right then. She picked them up and played with them, saying "This is what my father would say to me "ARIEL! No going to the surface!" And then I would say "But Daddy...." Made my dd smile so much!

Thanks for any input!

We ate there last Wed afternoon and there wasn't a "foyer princess" - they all walked around. We had Aurora, Jasmine, Ariel, Belle, and CINDERELLA (my older dd was as thrilled as I was shocked).

the only 'usual' element i've noted is:

for breakfast, greeter is belle in the yellow ball gown

for lunch and dinner, greeter tends to be ariel

beyond that, everything is always subject to be changed. so bottom line, it doesn't matter what 1000 people had before you.

On Monday March 5th we had Snow White as a greeter. The other characters were Aurora, Alice, Ariel, and Jasmine. they were all great! (This was dinner, by the way.)

On April 27th,

We had Aurora as the greeter, we had Ariel, Cinderella, Jasmine and Belle in her blue dress.

I was thrilled with these choices. I had a friend who went two days later and had no Ariel at all... and one of the princesses was Alice in Wonderland. We were both there for dinner btw...

something funny.... A kid (at another table) at my friends dinner told Alice that she didn't want her autograph because she wasn't really a princess. Granted, that is a little bratty, but it does aggravate me that they try to make Alice in Wonderland, Wendy and Mary Poppins "princesses". The kids clearly don't think they are!

I am not really sure of a pattern at Akershus, but that was our experience!

I hate that as well, I've seen all three of them at the CRT princess meals; Alice at breakfast, Mary Poppins and Alice at lunch, and Mulan at Akershus. None of them are princesses! It's one of my biggest pet peeves.

In August, with my DGD and I hope she gets to see Ariel!:goodvibes
