Restaurant Agrabah Café - Buffet or menu?

We are hoping to make it to DLP in July for DD's 16th birthday. She's a bit of a picky eater but I thought she'd like the Aladdin theming of the restaurant. All reviews point to this being a buffet which would work great for her, but online it shows an actual plated menu that she may or may not turn her nose up at lol. Here is what the DLP website is showing. I know they are closed right now but for anyone that went before October any input is appreciated. Thanks!

It's a Moroccan / Middle Eastern kitchen. And the food and ambiance is among the best at DLP. Think couscous, hummus, lentils, eggplant.
If your daughter doesn't like to eat a bit more exotic and wants chicken tenders and fries. Then this is not her restaurant. They do have fries and pasta, but I think it's a bit of a waste then to eat there.

The menu stayed the same more or less during the Covid reopening last year. Only instead of a buffet, it was all-you-can eat, plated.

I would imagine, it will be more like family style like they have implemented at place like, Chef Mickey, Biergarten, which works out great.... If she is a really pick eater, I would let her see the menu and go from there...

Fingers crossed here.. I've booked for mid july for a week in Paris. Everything can be canceled up to one week before, so it's only an half gamble, but I really hope to be able to go.

I'm curious about this as well, as we are booked for DLP in August (fingers crossed) and I was considering making a Agrabah Cafe reservation to enjoy the ambiance and have a midday sit down but only if it's an all-you-can eat with a variety of offerings to try (especially since I'd have to pay the adult price for my 12-year old, though both my kids like fairly exotic foods).

I notice a distinct difference between the Agrabah Cafe menu and the Plaza Gardens menu. Plaza Gardens clearly states "All-you-can-eat menu table-serve" and doesn't have specific items mentioned, while Agrabah Cafe has a detailed description of only a few items, which makes me think that's all of the options and you get a single plate.

I think they list the foods at Agrabah, because the food is not something everyone likes. They have to be more transparant. Plaza Gardens is always more generic in food.
