I was fortunate to have received a Kidney transplant in January.... so far all numbers have been great and we are going to WDW this July.

Occasionally I have had some swelling in my feet and I believe it is being caused by one of the meds I am on... The past couple of days they seem to be swelling more often. Since this is the first hot weather I have encountered since the transplant I don't know the swelling gets worse in the heat.

On past trips I have never been to disney first aide... are they located throughout the theme parks or only in the front.. can you put your feet up there for a short time... or does anyone have any other areas in the parks to put up your feet for a bit? I want to enjoy the parks as much as possible with my family and I don't want to be a bother and take a way from the trip...

There is a first aid in each park. The only one where it is in the front in the Studios. MK is near caseys. Ak is near Pizzarfari and Epcot is near Mexico.

Swelling can be casued by many things. I'd call my doctor to let him/her know of the recent change first and foremost. Then I'd review my diet. Salt and caffine both added and hidden in foods and meds can cause swelling. Also if you are on any kind of restricted diet by your physician let Disney know as soon as you get to your restaurant even before you are seated! They are great at meeting your dietary needs. It would help even more if you gave the restaurant heads up a day ahead through the concierge. that way the chef will be better prepared and make something perfect for you!!:goodvibes
