I'm interested in renting points but would like to know how I could check availability before posting to rent points. I'm under the impression that you must be a member to check with the DVC. Is that true?

You are correct. Only members can call.

Technically, anyone can call... its just that member get answers!

As far as getting availability, most any of us that rent points are more than happy to check availability for you. If you give us the dates you are interested in we will call Member Services and find out if they are available and at what resorts.

Remember that your most popular nights are going to be Sunday-Thursday because the point costs are so much lower. It is much easier to find rooms for Friday and Saturday nights but then, who wants to take a 3-day vacation? I know, but not all of us get to actually live in Florida!
