I sent an e-mail to disney complaining to them about the BRP not so much that they introduced it [although I wish the old AP system was still in place, but it is up to them what they do, and I accept that having AP's was no guarantee of a discount], more complaining that my voucher numbers were not accepted on the site originally when the 120 day window was opened [after the IT guys gave me another code I was too late] but then to reduce it to 60 days same problem again, also I had sent three earlier e-mails and had no response.
Well to my surprise disney called me last week and too cut a long story short they offered me $18 per night for 10 days at *** or ASMu for 10/19 check-in unfortunately we decided that we wanted to keep our original booking at ASMo, as our freinds had booked to stay there because we were there and my family prefer ASMO, although $180 would have brought me a few beers at the bar.
While I am still annoyed that we may have got discount at ASMo if my voucher numbers had worked and felt that maybe they should have offered it to me, at least they did make an offer which which was a nice gesture but I do realise that may mean they have rooms empty at those two resorts.
Thought I would share this as it shows they do actually read our e-mails
