Resorts?

Hi there!

i'm a newbie and quite addicted! Sad eh!
My family and i stay at Saratoga Springs, in anyones opinion, is there a better Disney resort for room disability access for moving hoists and wheelchairs to stay at? Just curious.

The three resorts on the monorail have larger guest rooms than the studio at Saratoga Springs, so there would probably be more room for equipment. On the other hand, if you stay in a one- or two-bedroom suite at SSR, then you are getting more total square footage than a room at one of the monorail resorts. We like the Polynesian because our two DDs who use power chairs actually have enough space to drive around the room, even with two queen beds and a day bed, which is something they rarely can do in a hotel room.

The other thing we like about the monorail hotels is that we find it easier to take the monorail to the MK or Epcot than loading the girls onto the buses. Whether this is an advantage for you depends on which parks you spend the most time at.

I think it's cool that SSR has a lift for the pool (or is it the hot tub?) I don't know if any other the other resorts have that.
