WHICH DISNEY RESORTS CAN ACCOMMODATE 5 ADULTS FOR SEPT VACATION?

Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Boardwalk Inn or Villas, Wilderness Lodge Villas (not the lodge itself), the Contemporary, some rooms at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Yacht and Beach Club, the Swan and Dolphin. Those are all deluxes. One moderate--Port Orleans Riverside. Nothing else.
Or in DIS speak: Poly, GF, BWI, BWV, VWL, CR, AKL, YC, BC, S/D, and PO-R :D

hi: there are junior suites available at the wl as well that will sleep 5 as well as the 2br villas at okw and the new beach club villas will be open by then as well.

If you are thinking about getting one resort room to accomodate five adults, I thought I would post the footnote from the Disney World website (this particular one is from the GF's webpage):

Most rooms have a maximum five-person occupancy per room. Prices are per room, and there is an additional adult charge of $25 per adult per night for more than two adults in a room. Prices, benefits, and other terms are subject to change without notice. Length-of-stay requirements may apply. Rooms subject to availability. Certain nights are already sold out. Prices are in U.S. dollars.

If you want to stay in a Home-Away-From-Home resort, five adults would require a two-bedroom villa (I believe a one-bedroom villa only sleeps four). If you want to go the Disney suite route, you might be able to get a one-bedroom suite (if it has two queen-sized beds in the bedroom and a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the parlor, that would sleep six people). I have some suite photos posted here in my On-Line Photo Albums. By the way, the additional adult charges are waived for villas and suites.

Cabins at FW accommodate 6 with a full kitchen & bedroom. There is alot to do at FW. How old are your kids? We take advantage of the bike riding, boats, the nightly campfire & just the beautiful scenery.

Just stayed at the CR. Nice size rooms. Busy resort. FW is very relaxing. It's nice to just pull up to your "room" & walk in.

One drawback is you have to take the bus every where inside the resort (or take a leisurely walk through the Wilderness).

Check the rates on the cabins. Check for codes. Rates for November are $189/night. You can always book a few different things & then think about it before making a final decision. You have up to 5 days before hand to cancel.

Just re-read your question & realized you're not taking kids. With 5 adults, the more room you have the better. Check the cabins.

Plynesian, Grand Floridian, Yacht Club, Beach Club, Boardwalk Inn, the Contemporary, Fort Wilderness Cabins, Coronado Springs, Disney Institute, and 2 BR Villas in a DVC Resort.

If you want the lowest rate possible, Coronado Springs with a rollaway will probably be your best choice.

Although PO-R Alligator Bayou says that it sleeps 5, the 5th bed is actually a trundle, which comfortably sleeps a child. And the other 2 beds are only doubles.

Try CR... the rooms are just about the biggest and there are 2 queen beds and a daybed. Of course with the extra 3 adults, be prepared to pay an extra $75 per night, no matter what deluxe you choose, and an extra $45 per night if you opt for PO-R.

I'ld suggest getting 2 rooms that connect. This way you get 2 bathrooms and some extra space without paying the additional adult fee.

Getting 2 connecting rooms at the AS would be cheaper than paying for 3 extra adults at $25 apiece per night at a deluxe, and you would have 2 toilets and 2 sinks, as well as 4 beds...only 2 people would have to double up.

Check the discount codes, as well, and you may be able to find 2 moderate rooms for just a tiny bit more, and then you would have more room and 4 sinks, nicer pools, and a cocktail lounge...not to mention boats that can be rented, and if you stay at the Port Orleans resorts you will have the added benefit of the riverboat to Downtown Disney.

Good luck to you in your decision.
