When do the resorts usually get decorated for Christmas?

I know they are decorated now, but I'm planning a trip for next year in November and wanted to be there to see the decorations at the various resorts. When do the resorts start decorating for Christmas?

Mid-November is when most are completely done. I remember back in '01, we were staying at POR. We walked through the main lobby area at the end of a long day in the parks. It was not decorated at all...the same as if you were there in July. Well...the next morning, we walked through to get breakfast before heading to the airport.....there was a huge Christmas tree in the center of the lobby and the entire place was completely decorated for Christmas!! It was mind boggling.

They usually start right after Halloween. They are usually done before Thanksgiving.

Does anyone know when the resorts take the decorations, trees and gingerbread stuff down?

I wouldn't count on the decorations being completely up at the resorts by mid Nov. We were at WL two years ago the week before Thanksgiving. They did not put up the resort decorations until the Friday before Thanksgiving.

Decorations start going up early November.They are generally finished by Thanksgiving week.They start coming down pretty quickly after the New Year.

I would say that they would be up the week of Thanksgiving and not before. Last year when I went on Nov.10 thru 20th non of the resorts where decorated at all very disapponited. The parks where done but not the hotels. The last day (20TH) they had started on GF.
