When we go in Feb we are staying 6 nights and will only go to the parks 2-3 times, max. (1 WDW day and 1 or 2 at Universal). We will rent a car so it doesn't matter whether we stay closer to Universal or WDW.Looking for a 1 or 2 bdrm condo or suite hotel with a terrific pool area and activities to entertain teenage boys on the non-park days. I was thinking a water park or at least a fun pool area with slide, arcade, etc.
Must have free wireless internet and free parking. Shuttles to the WDW and Universal parks would be preferred, but not a deal breaker. Would prefer to stay under $100 per night.
So far I found Parkway International which looks great, but you have to pay for internet. I found some other resorts that look great (Embassy Suites and Bonnet Creek) but they are outside the budget and some have resort and/or parking fees)
I would prefer a suite that has a dedicated bedroom, so not crazy about the layout for Hawthorne or Homewood Suites.
My travel dates run into President's week so I am sure that's why I am seeing higher prices right now. Should I just wait a couple of months and see if there will be some deals later in the fall for Feb travel?
