Resort visit after a 7 day cruise?

If I book a 7 day cruise, how should I book extra days at Disney? Should we stay at the resort on the Friday before or the Saturday/Sunday after? Will they offer discounted rates or park tickets at a lower rate to extend the vacation by a few days?

I DONT THINK SO BUT WHY GO HOME ON SATURDAY WE LIKE TO TAKE THE BUS BACK TO THE WORLD ...

U may get length of stay pass at what ever resort u stay at..
at one time the Swan and Dolphin were offering a discounted rate not sure if they still are ??


Would not go the day before unless u are getting in Super early in the Morning.... would either make my way to the port area or stay at the 2 favorites Ron john's resort or the Radisson
and enjoy the area there.... u may even meet some other dis members and kids there.. nice way to start the cruise....

But if we go the on Saturday to the resort - what time would we get to the park? 60 bucks a person for less than a full day at the park would NOT be worth it....

We have stayed at the parks for a couple of days before and also for some time after.....we sail this Saturday and then plan on 2 nights in the World....it is nicer to run around for a couple of days and then relax on the ship....but doing it either way is great....have a great time making the decision....
