Resort Valet Parking

Stayed at WVL last week and the valet parking was stinky! Now I valet parked at BW, AKL, GF BC,and Poly this trip and all were terrific. Great help getting the strollers and packages in or out. Quick service - when the vehicle was there before us they brought the keys over - just great. But at WVL it was the worst. I would call down for the vehicle - when we got down it would be there - good so far. I would get 3 kids, 2 adults, strollers and gear in - and then go to the desk to retrieve my keys. At this point the desk person would call over a valet, give him the keys and he would inform me he brought the car up and hand me the keys. The first and second time I gave the guy a tip. Now mind you - the next couple of times 70% of the time 2 to 4 valet would be standing chatting while I'm loading everything thing up and going to get my keys. Finally I said to the desk person - you know I just got back from BW and the valet loaded up my stuff while I got the kids in, the same thing occured over at the Poly the day before, I pay 6.00 to valet park my vehicle, the tip is for service I get and I'm not getting any service here so I'm not tipping. they kind of looked at me like I was a nut. For the balance of our trip - 7 days I did not once tip WVL valet - didn't matter because servicewise nothing changed. I saved a ton of money - considering I know what a big help it is when I do get service I tend to really tip. The valet at the Poly last year were fantastic - but then it also cost me a lot more!!!!
