Resort-type Hotel within sensible driving distance from DLP?

Hi folks,
We are trying to arrange a trip to DLP for the last week of the school Summer holiday at the end of August.
As expected, staying on-site is going to be expensive so we've been looking slightly further afield.
One place we've found is Village Parisien, but are looking for other places that may keep costs down and have that holiday feel for the kids.

Any recommendations would be very much appreciated. Mostly hotels with pools or playgrounds, that kind of thing.

I also expect it will be very busy in the park at the end of Aug. Is that likely to be the case?

We stayed at the Village Parisien for several years running when the children were young and it is a lovely family-friendly place with a pool and other activities for children. It is on the edge of a pleasant village and the campsite will order bread and croissants for you from the local boulangerie. Our children loved it at the time but the mobile homes are very compact, you have to provide your own bedding and towels and clean the place before you leave and there's the half hour car journey each way to consider also.
