Hello,

This is our first time staying on property and I wanted to know if you are allowed to tour other resorts...how does it work - are you escorted around the property by a CM or on your own?

Thanks - 2 days to DISNEY :bounce:

Last time I was there, I stayed at the AS Music resort and drove over to AKLodge. I was stopped at the guards gate and explained that I was staying at ASMu and wanted to see AKLodge. No issues what so ever - he told me where to park and I walked right on in.

I didn't tour with anyone -- just walked around on my own.

I have walked around the Yacht and Beach Club resort in the past, too......went to have a snack and Beaches and Cream and walked around.

Hope this helps, and have a GREAT time!!!

As a WDW guest you are welcome to visit any or all of the Disney resorts and just meander around. The only formal tour I know of is at the WL and I would check with Gst Svcs regarding this.

We usually do some exploring when we dine at one of the resort restaurants. We love the hayride and just walking around FW, sometimes doing the Campfire Movie.

If you would like to look at one of the rooms you can check with the FD and just say we are thinking about where we want to stay on our next visit. Unless it is really busy or they are short staffed I found the cms glad to let you take a peak.

The BC has a "formal tour" as well. Not sure if you need to be a guest there to take it, but it can't hurt to ask if you are interested.
