Resort through cheap tickets

I booked a last minute trip today and used cheap tickets since they have 20% off Disney discount prices. How long will it be before I can link the confirmation number to MDX? TIA

Can you tell me how you got your disney confirmation #? I've been on hold forever and no one knows what I'm asking.

I just did this. Call customer service as soon as you want and tell them that you want the confirmation number for the My Disney Experience website. They will put you hold, call Disney, and return with a 12 digit number. I had read on the boards that it would be in your confirmation email or itinerary page, but it wasn't for me. I think Cheap Tickets has a new reservation system, so maybe that's why I didn't get it. Don't use the chat if your confirmation number does NOT start with PBX or something like that. I think those are on the old system. Mine was new, and chat told me I had to call CS after I had waited for the chat Mine linked just fine once I got the number. I did all of this on Sunday, the same day that I booked the hotel.

They actually had me call the resort number, I asked for the number to link my reservation to my Disney experience, they transferred me to I believe Disney wholesale and they got me the information right away. I did this on all 3 resorts we have booked and it worked no problem. They just needed the name on the reservation, dates and the resort.

When I used Cheaptickets last year, the number was actually buried within the e-mail they sent me immediately after booking. There were 2 numbers - one was a Cheaptickets reference number, and the other was the Disney system number.
