Resort Take Out?

Not officially, no. There's reports of people getting takeout from some resort restaurants. I know that Olivia's at OKW does not allow takeout.

I have done it once, but a few of us were sitting down to eat and I had a sick child back in the room with me -- because of food allergies (can't do room service) they prepared mine and my daughter's meals to go.

Basically, as they said, Officially no. But in special circumstances like above, they will prepare a couple meals to go. We were staying DVC so had a fridge and microwave to save/reheat the meals.

Not normally! If you are too full for dessert or don't finish your appetizer or entree, they'll give you a to go box to pack it up in and usually a paper bag to put it in. But a whole meal they usually won't. Saying that, I got overheated one trip and felt ill just before we left to go to the Yachtsman for dinner. I sent my husband and mom on and I returned to the resort. Once I got back, showered, and cooled off, I felt better so called them to see if they could bring me a meal back. They were told they could not bring an entire meal back, but could bring back a few individual items.:confused3 He brought me back a seafood salad appetizer, a dish of mushrooms, and a dish of macaroni and cheese. He said they wouldn't allow him to order a steak to go though.:confused3:rotfl:

On the DxDDP I'm frequently too full to eat my dessert, so have gotten things like cheese plates, cakes, etc to go, but only after I"ve eaten a meal there.
