Resort switch and DME tags **Update in OP

Booked a last minute trip and then changed resorts. I got ME tags today (we leave In5 days) My ME tags are for a resort ressie we cancelled. I have a new ressie # at a different resort. I read you can cross off the resort name and write on the new resort but my confirmation number is different. Does that matter?

iS the ME tag linked to the MDE account? should I just take my claim ticket to the ME desk and skip the yellow tags or use the yellow tags and go to the desk? Or? Advice needed. thanks


**UPDATE - We leave in 4 days and I got new ME tags via UPS 2 day air. Way to go Disney!

It doesn't matter. The bar code is how they route, and they update that on the back end.

I actually have the same problem...so the bar code will send the luggage to the correct resort?

I just did this in January and called with my new resort/flight info to ME. They told me since there wasn't time to send yellow tags, to just give my claim check to the ME people. I decided to just get my bag myself, since we were arriving in the evening, and carry it on the bus. I've heard people being successful writing the new resort on their tag, but I didn't want to risk it.

Yup. No need to write anything on the tags. As long as ME has your new resort, you're good to go.
