Still no show! By the way Yodasmum, I did the photo mats for the CSR and got a PM from Bigsis asking if she could use the spare set as someone dropped out after I posted. Perhaps you should PM her as she certainly had enough to go round, but with all her anxiety recently some things might have got mixed. (Happens to the best of us!)

I got yours MazdaUK, in the Coronado Springs swap. The list showed 7 swapers in that group and that's the number I sent, but just got 6 items back. The list showed both you and BigSis1970 doing mats and it was hers that I didn't get. It's really no big deal, though. I can make my own using the paper I used for my own items.

I opened mine up yesterday and they are all so wonderful. My DH was very impressed as well and he usually wonders what I will do with all my swap items. LOL

I must say I am very disappointed. I did pay for Priority Mail, I should have received it by now if she mailed them all at the same time.

I could just cry. I spent a lot of time and money in making 55 elements. It made me very reluctant to spend a lot time on the other swaps I've signed up for. If the hostess there hadn't kept in contact as much as they have, I might have thrown it all in.

Well, at least I remembered to take pictures of these elements, not that I'm going to take the time duplicate them.

I'm also very upset. I'm not going to take part in any more swaps. Quite apart from the time and materials (and I didn't go for a huge number of resorts and elements like some of you ladies) I sent £8 - about $14 - to cover postage to the UK and so far I've got absolutely nothing.

Its cheaper to buy ready-made stuff and less hassle.

Back to e-bay! Its safer and more reliable.

There are seven of us who have not reported as receiving our items. I had hope for MazdaUK as she is so far away that hers could have been mailed with the others and just taking a long time to get there.

She did say there were 4 whose addresses she needed. Did anyone get that query?

I know we could bring this to the attention of the moderators, but short of someone going to Maine what could they really do? She already does not post to the boards anymore. I sent her cash so I can't stop payment on a check, besides it is would be way to late for that option.

I'm going to just have face the fact that I am never going to see this swap. We all know how much time making these elements takes. So it is more that than the money I invested. I know you all understand the frustration and disappoint we are feeling right now. Thank you for that. It doesn't really make it all better, but it sure does help some.

I feel terrible about all this - I did get my elements but I can imagine how those of you who haven't must feel.

I agree that I don't know how much more could be done, but I do think it's worth giving the moderators a heads up. I'll shoot a PM over to them just to clue them in.

For the record, I would be willing to drive up to Maine to pick up the stuff if that would help, but the problem seems to be making any kind of contact with bigsis.

I am starting to feel like the whining child everyone hates to sit next to in a restaurant. So no more complaining out of me. I just need to pull up my big girl panties and carry on. (that's a quote from my little sister)
