Our family needs a resort with two bedrooms, Extra Magic hours, on property. Any suggestions for both Disney and non-Disney resorts with some of the Disney perks?

Any of the DVC resorts. However, Boardwalk Villas only have lockoff two bedroom villas. Meaning a combination of a studio and a one bedroom. So you have two entrances into the villa. One through the studio and one through the one bedroom.

The same way you book a regular WDW room, online or phone. Or you can rent points from someone who is a DVC member. Either directly through the owner or through a broker like https://dvcrequest.com/.

Do you need 2 bedrooms or 2 sleeping areas? The family suites at ASMu or AofA sleep 6 as do the cabins at Fort Wilderness.

The Doubletree in Disney Springs area has 2 bedroom suites. Mousesavers.com has discounts for this hotel.
The hotels in Disney Springs participate in extra magic hours and same booking windows as the Disney owned resorts.

There are also 2-bedroom suites at the Swan/Dolphin. You need to call them directly to book them.
