Resort Self Parking Prices?

Does anyone know if there is a charge to park your car at HRH when you are staying there? Thanks.

Yes, there is a $6.00 per day charge for self parking. (Although some on these boards have reported not being charged). With the great discounted room rates available at the Universal hotels, an extra $6.00 is not so hard to swallow.

One of the perks with an AP is free self-parking in the Universal main parking garage. Does anyone know if this free parking perk extends to self-parking at the hotels? Hey - It's $6! Thanks in advance!

You know........... I was wondering that very same thing....... it seems a little bit "ODD" to me that with the AP you get free parking....... BUT, if you stay onsite........... you have to PAY to park. You would think the hotel would extend that "perk" as well. It just doesn't make sense to me. If you are an AP holder, like us, from another state........ and you choose to stay onsite........ like us, you should NOT in a sense be penalized and be forced to pay to park. NO, I don't have a problem with it....... not really, if you have to you have to... that's fine, but it does seem a little bid ridiculous........ NOT all AP holders live in florida or choose to stay offsite......... therefore, getting free parking. Just my two cents worth...........




For those of you who have NOT been charged the parking fee at the resorts.......... how'd you do that????

I have an AP, and we have been charged parking 2 out of 3 times.

But as was mentioned above, they give such great hotel prices, such great AP prices and actual discounts in the parks on food and merchandice (not to be confused with The Mouse), I don't get too upset about the $6. And I am pretty frugal .

Oh yeah, the one time I did not get charged was last year at RPR. It was probably an oversite.
