This weekend, my wife (who barely has the Disney gene) received a mailing from Walt Disney World advertising the same graduated (e.g. 40 percent off deluxe or villa, lower percentages off for moderates and value) resort room discounts Disney typically offers every year. The discounts are offered for off-peak dates but (and this is what surprised me) the discount period extends to December 24 (starting December 11, skipping the week of Pop Warner). It's still January, right?
I guess 2011 resort bookings are not as strong as WDW might like.
I looked carefully for a pin code and didn't see one, though the mailer did say the offer was not transferrable. There were numbers (highlighted in yellow) above my wife's name in the address label but it was not the typical pin code.
I just have to wonder why WDW sent it to my wife. Mickey must know who makes the important decisions in the family.
