Resort Reservation Question

I need help with a quick question. I have been stuck with the burden off booking 2 rooms for my LOVELY (NOT) sister who is working. I have this week off from work and I'm doing the favor for her. Is a credit card required when u call CRO to reserve a room. The trip is for july and I think there is still plenty off time for her to get a room. She didnt leave me her CC number,and I cant call her at work cause she is never in her office. So I was wondering if anyone can get back to me and let me know so I can get her off my back and start enjoying my week OFF. Thank you for those that help.

I've never been asked for my credit card when I've made a reservation. The CM will tell you that a deposit is due by a certain date and you (your sister) will get a "confirmation"/deposit required letter from Disney. I've had to call and ask for an extension every so often, though, as sometimes the letter arrives too late for me to get the deposit back via return mail. I'm not positive, but I believe your sister can call and make the deposit via credit card if she wishes. I'm sure someone else will confirm or provide the correct info if this is not true.

CarolMN is correct. I have a question for you, however. Are you going to be using one of those two rooms or are they both for your sister's family?

Thanks to those that answered. i went ahead and called and got my sis the evervations. By the way Disney has some Summer saver special and the prices are pretty darn good. The rooms are for my sis and her husbands family. I'm not invited on this trip
